Poteen Cocktail

Irish Poteen is a European Union G.I. Protected Status Spirit

 

At Interwhisky Frankfurt 2008, the following cocktail was created:-

Noite.

 

Ingredients.

1.5cl Monin Cookie Chocolate

1cl. Monin Butter Scotch

4-5cl. Knockeen Hills Irish Poteen 90% vol. Gold Extra-Strength quadruple-distilled.

8-10cl. Pineapple Juice

5cl. Orange Juice

Slice of fresh orange

Ice

 

Method

 

1.       Put several ice cubes in a shaker,

2.       Add the Monin Cookie Chocolate and Butter Scotch syrups

3.       Add the Irish Poteen

4.       Pour over 8-10cl of Pineapple Juice and 5cl. of Orange juice

5.       Shake vigorously

6.       Strain and pour into a large cocktail glass

7.      Place a slice of fresh orange on the rim.

8.       Serve with two straws in the glass
